RIP Steve McQueen and Richard attenborough great classic film 😊❤
I adored Glynis Johns and was so sad to hear of her death, even at such a great age. The reaction seemed to be that she was best known for being the mother in "Mary Poppins" when she'd actually had a very long, varied and brilliant career. I saw her on stage in the West End in London in the 1960s in "The King's Mare" when she played Anne of Cleeves opposite Keith Mitchell as Henry VIII. She was absolutely brilliant. And I adored her as a mermaid in the comedy films about "Miranda". Whatever she did, she did wonderfully.
RIP Mr. Drexell.
One of my favorites composers in my list along john Williams James horner hans zimmer bill conti rip genius
Ms Mayo was absolutely flawless in Best Years. She truly had some of the best (even comic) scenes...when she takes off her fake eyelashes in dismay after her husband insisted on staying home and nit going nightclubbing. When she asked him about his 'friend' Peggy. ..." she's just a girl " her retort, " I didn't think she was a kangaroo " .
Now pay attention. This is a real movie director
R.I.P. Dabney Coleman pray for us🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Merci 2024. UTOPIA.
She was perfect!
Barbara was Magnificent. RIP
Oh George, you were my No.1 idol ever since WSS , still is and forever will be even I have watched a recent interview of yours with your Grey hair looking like a silver fox
John fucking aye aye ditty bags. Love this movie.
An amazing actor and character
The story, the time, the direction, the actors/actresses, and the content, flawless.
Scotland's GREATEST EVER COMEDIAN!!
From Principal Prickly on Recess to the Commodore on Boardwalk Empire
I first noticed her when I was a child watching the 1950's SI-FI movie, "When Worlds Collide" on. television. I thought her character was so cute and sweet at the time. RIP Barbara Rush. A very underrated actress who should have been given many more roles in films.
Rush also had a prominent role in another 1950's Sci-Fi movie, "It Came From Outer Space" (1953). She was also outstanding in an episode of "The Fugitive" TV series, called "Landscape With Running Figures," a two-part episode from season 3.
Sorry to hear she passed away yesterday..March 31,2024 RIP
🎉🎉🎉
Beautiful and talented actress - a favourite
Where is the full interview?
Ha! Of course he liked her a lot or he would have stopped her. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. He knew he was watching two actors doing top notch work. Her character is so likable and we think that marriage is on solid ground until the cracks start showing in how different they are. Painful to watch because it was so authentic. Beautifully written and acted. Amazing movie. OMG what a film. Wyler was brilliant.
Dashing young blade!!
The power of leaving us to imagine eg the boom boom noise is terrifying & the incredible moment when Eleanor says “ stop holding my hand so tight “ lights go on a Theodora is sitting completely on the other side of the bedroom “ classic
Claire & Richard Burton were lovers for years in real life
Still stands up as a incredible piece of work one of the best films let alone horror I ever seen
Goes a Lil somethin like dat huh
Claire Bloom vient de fêter ses 93 ans❤
wow
Barbara Rush was under rated as an actress. She was lovely, and graceful!
Fascinant.
Love this film I was born in 1973. Soylent green and Threads are my 2 fav films of all time. Both so dark
Love this Claire Bloom rules
In full agreement with all those who note how she has graced the screen with her beauty, and, yes, indeed, a beautiful voice but one extra point could be added; she always impresses me as someone of profound intelligence.
Barbara Carrera is not only beautiful, but a great storyteller with a lovely voice. “Never Say Never Again” is one of my favourite films, and it’s wonderful to hear her enthusiasm for it so many years later! I’m glad Barbara focuses here on Irvin Kershner, praising him for his creativity, energy, and openness to new ideas. He was one of the most underrated Bond directors, working under tremendous pressure. The scene she cites - Fatima Blush dancing down the staircase - was absolute fun to watch! And her character was always fascinating, unlike Fiona in “Thunderball.”
Exactly film one of the best ghost stories ever
A real lady and what a pro! Rest in Peace lovely Glynis! Xx
R.I.P. Glynis Johns
I loved you as a child you were a Mermaid to me God Bless beautiful lady may you Rest In Peace thank you for sharing you wonderful gift with the world.
Rest in peace. What a wonderful life you had.
Rest in Peace!<3
I saw "Fever in the blood" back in the early 60's when I was just entering my teens. I recall Efrem Zimbalist Jr. being her co-star. This was Angie's peak period in the movies. The girl who gets murdered in the film was June Blair [the then wife of David Nelson, Ricky's elder brother]. Who committed the murder, I think it was Robert Colbert, who was a contract player at Warner Bros., playing in such films as Claudelle Inglish and such TV shows as Bourbon Street Beat, 77 Sunset Strip and later in Time Tunnel.
I don’t remember any mermaids in Mary Poppins.
Iggy, this did not happen in Mary Poppins. It happened in Miranda, the fantasy film from 1948, made 16 years before Mary Poppins.
@@JavierValverde-dw7cy I’m kidding!
@@Iggywiggywoo Oh ok lol 😂
A Great Movie
I love this movie. My sister and I sat thru a couple of showings of it in the theater years ago. That’s when you could do that.
Claire and Julie both were superb in this film! I watch it again and again and never fails to hypnotize me!
I thought he died 15 years ago.
A strange movie ... obscure 70's humor
A fantastic movie and wonderful interview 😊
J'avais toujours le souvenir d'un homme d'une 40aine d'années. Je n'en reviens toujours pas que Frederic Forrest soit mort à 86 ans. (Marianne, Paris)
